The lab is recruiting students including undergrads (專題生), Master’s/PhD students (資工所、網媒所) to advance future Human-Computer Interaction.

The lab is interested in students who are passionate about technologies (we are pushing the limits of technologies), caring for humans (we are designing technologies for human beings), and curious about the unknown (we often don’t know the answer and that’s why we do research).

For all applications

  1. Read lab website and find interests in the lab’s vision.
  2. Students who have programming (e.g., Python, Unity3D, Computer Vision), hardware prototyping skills (e.g., Arduino, embedded systems, 3D modeling), experiences in user research (e.g., psychology, neuroscience), or other related skills/experiences (e.g., taken HCI classes, specific domain knowledge like sports or music) are preferred.
  3. Email your specific interests/research topics along with your CV & portfolio (e.g., website) that shows all your prior projects/research/artwork to Shan-Yuan (tengshanyuan@csie.ntu.edu.tw)

Master & PhD

You need to apply for Master/PhD (either/both CSIE/資訊工程研究所 & GINM/資訊網路與多媒體研究所) at NTU before their deadlines. For undergrad students at NTU, you can consider applying directly to PhD (逕行修讀博士學位, please check with the department for qualification). I cannot guarantee you will be admitted since these are committee-based decisions.
